A view of our new house, past and present. A reminder of how far we've come, and a morale-booster for the upcoming weekend of work.

The color is growing on me. It definitely looks best in natural light (turn on an incandescent bulb and it turns pea-soup green) which is okay, since this room gets plenty. The floors are the same as the ones in the Great Room. We are so fortunate to have such beautiful wood.
In the middle picture you can see the shelves from the built-in, which I pulled out and painted. I'll hopefully have an update about that on Monday.
Happy Friday!

PLEASE tell me you kept that gorgeous orange chair? J/K. I love the shade of green. Remind me what it is again?
Ha! No, the chair is history. The paint is Benj. Moore's Dill Pickle. You should see it in person before you go falling in love with it, though. It's very chameleonic.
Aww maaaaannn. That chair had some bones. heehee
The colors you chose are so lovely and full of life.
