What I'm Wearing: Introducing...
This is a story about boots. About midway through November, I started thinking about them. I started thinking that maybe I should have a pair, because, you know. Boots come in handy sometimes.
Now, I've owned snow boots, and hiking boots, and even ski boots. But never (before last Wednesday, when they arrived) had I owned pretty boots. Leather ones with little clicky heels. You know the kind. And so detailed was the vision in my head of my perfect boots that the decision-making process took me three months.
Every day, I went on the Steve Madden website, and looked at the same five pairs. I opened each one in its own little tab, and I popped back and forth between them for something less than an hour, weighing the pros and the cons of each. And then I got frustrated with myself, closed all my little tabs, and moved on to something else.
O, the treacherous world of online shopping. There's no pressure towards making a decision, so, if you're like me, you can drag the ordinarily enticing experience of buying boots out across three drudging months.

Coming from a die-hard Madden fan, I think you made a superb choice, m'dear. I love them by the way. Cute sweater too!
Thanks! Now that I have one, I think I might need another, and another, and...
Lovely boots....but Dayum...aren't your tootsies cold??!
Yes they sure were, standing ankle-deep in snow like that!
Very cute pose, and love your boots and everything! Great to make earrings from buttons! Who takes the pictures of you outside? Peace, Stephanie
Stephanie-- Thanks! I take my own pictures, with the ten second timer and my camera propped on something sturdy.
Lovely! This is such a perfect winter outfit - so cozy and stylish. Your photos are adorable, too!
Love the boots, the outfit, the jewelry! Smart gal!
