Dress: Thrifted (originally J. Crew)
Leggings: Tulle
Necklace: The Black Apple
Ridiculous Purple Snowboots: LL Bean
In the midst of a winter that's been surprisingly light in snowfall, we finally have a respectable winter storm. Nothing near as dramatic as what's going on in NYC, and Philadelphia, and Baltimore right now, but still, it's snow. And it's just not a proper upstate winter without snow, is it?
I felt pretty cozy in this get-up, even while dashing out into the elements. The leggings are a recent addition to my wardrobe--I bought two pairs just after Christmas--and I'm really loving them. We taller girls have to be wary of shorter dresses. I have a few that, like this one, rise a mile above my knee and shouldn't be chanced with just tights. You know what I'm sayin. With a little more opacity between my upper leg and the public view, well, I can be a bit braver.

Ooo, you're lucky! Round these parts, our snow isn't enough to cancel anything. Phoo.
i love this outfit Kristina! you are really working that "new look" well!!
Thanks! I'm seriously considering buying about ten more pairs of leggings, they're so versatile!
So cute! I love the buttons on the dress. You look fantastic.
Lately I've been into layering two button-down things over one another-- I like the dress buttons, too!
