I got to spend part of my day with these guys yesterday. Two week old baby goats. For a couple of years I've been thinking progressively more and more seriously about having goats here, someday. For milk and cheese. I have a feeling yesterday may have sealed the deal...
At Painted Goat, in Garratsville.

Oh my gosh they are sooo adorable!! The problem is they grown up into big goats! My sister and her husband got 2 goats a couple of years ago and they were so destructive. They ate EVERYTHING!!! They even ate their goat house. But I have confidence that you will do great with them!
They are adorable. And can be destructive. They need a fairly large area to roam. Not like acres and acres, but some land ya know?
I am confident you have enough room there. Can't wait to see this adventure unfold.
I grew up with dairy goats and OMG I LOVE THEM SO HARD! Ahem, sorry about that...
Goats aren't going to happen overnight-- they're like the only species of livestock, practically, that I know *nothing* about. We have probably half an acre or so that we could devote to goat pasture, not sure if that's enough.
